The Vizius Way
Skip the middleman. Go straight to the engineer who does the work.
The Principal Engineer on your first call leads the work until your team has adopted it and trusts it.
What happens at every step
- Step 01
Discovery Call
Your PE takes the first call. No sales handoff.
- Step 02
Direct Assessment
Hands-on assessment of your environment, with your team.
- Step 03
Shared Roadmap
Collaborative definition of top priorities.
- Step 04
PE-Led Delivery
Your PE owns the engagement, end to end.
- Step 05
Outcome Assurance
Your PE stays with you until the work is adopted and trusted.
Select a step to see what happens, what you get and who you work with.
Step 01: Discovery Call
- What happens
- You tell us what is going on. The Principal Engineer who would lead the work takes the call: no sales rep, no qualification script, just the questions an engineer would ask.
- What you get
- A straight answer on whether, and how, we can help. If we are not the right fit, we will say so and point you to someone who is.
- Who you work with
- Your Principal Engineer.
Step 02: Direct Assessment
- What happens
- Your PE works hands-on in your environment, alongside your team, so what we recommend rests on what we actually saw.
- What you get
- A clear picture of where you stand today, in plain language.
- Who you work with
- Your Principal Engineer, working with your people.
Step 03: Shared Roadmap
- What happens
- You and your PE define the top priorities together, on the same side of the table.
- What you get
- Priorities in plain language, ranked by business risk. No 200-page report to decode.
- Who you work with
- Your Principal Engineer and your leadership team.
Step 04: PE-Led Delivery
- What happens
- The engineer who assessed your environment leads the work. Problems are raised the week we find them.
- What you get
- One accountable engineer from kickoff to finish.
- Who you work with
- Your Principal Engineer, who leads the work and stays your point of contact.
Step 05: Outcome Assurance
- What happens
- Delivery is not the finish line. Your PE stays with your team until the work is in use and your people trust it.
- What you get
- Work your team has adopted and trusts, and the evidence that it worked.
- Who you work with
- Your Principal Engineer and your team.
Diagram in two parts. Top, a traditional engagement: the chain runs from a sales rep to a pre-sales engineer, a delivery team, a PMO and an implementation engineer, and ends in a questionable outcome. Bottom, the Vizius Way: you go straight to a Principal Engineer, who takes you to the solution.
On larger projects, your Principal Engineer brings in more hands
- Project coordinationKeeps the schedule and the people in step.
- Right-skilled implementationSpecialists join for the parts that need them.
- Adoption and qualityTesting, training and a clean handover to your team.
The extra hands report to your Principal Engineer. You still have one person to call.
You skip the sales rep, the hand-offs and the PMO. One engineer stays with you from the first call to the finish.
Four commitments from your Principal Engineer
Same side of the table
Your PE works with your team, not across the table from it. Priorities are set together.
Authority to make it right
If something is not right, the engineer you work with has the authority to make it right.
Aligned to your success
Success means work your team has adopted and trusts, not a report on a shelf.
Unconditional Guarantee
Not satisfied and we can't make it right? We mark your last unpaid invoice “PAID.”
Meet the Principal Engineers
Every Vizius engagement is led by one of four Principal Engineers. Vizius is a 14-person cybersecurity and technology consulting firm, so the person you meet is the person who does the work.
Questions about how we work
Will I get handed off to a junior?
No. The Principal Engineer who takes your first call owns the engagement end to end, from the Discovery Call to Outcome Assurance. There is no handoff from sales to delivery, because there is no sales handoff to begin with.
What if it isn't right?
Tell your Principal Engineer. The PE Promise gives them the authority to make it right. And if we still can't, our Unconditional Guarantee applies: we mark your last unpaid invoice “PAID.”
Is the first call a sales call?
No. It is 30 minutes with the Principal Engineer who would lead the work. It is free, with no obligation.
Who are the Principal Engineers?
Glenn Johnson (CEO), David Hyde-Volpe (CTO), Max Dinges and Cameron Cromer. The one who takes your first call is the one who leads your engagement.
